Cedar Bluff Farragut Optimist Club Youth Sports Site

Cedar Bluff Farragut Optimist (CBFO) was started in the 1950’s and serves the West Knoxville community through a variety of service projects.  We are especially proud of our scholarship program which awarded over $7,500 in college grants to children in our community in 2009 and over $38,000 over the past five years.

CBFO is also active in our schools.  CBFO has subsidized school programs with over $35,000 since 2000.

CBFO is part of the Optimist International Organization and, at present, are one of only a handful of clubs nationwide that devotes its efforts to youth sports.  CBFO currently focuses on four core sports for boys and girls age 4 –19: Boys Football, Girls Fast-pitch Softball, Girls Volleyball, and Boys and Girls Basketball.  The programs serves over 1,500 children annually.
